I received a Master’s of Education in Community Counseling from the University of Georgia in 2006. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (License number – LPC005624), a National Certified Counselor (certification number: 213209), and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I currently hold memberships with the American Counseling Association, National Board of Certified Counselors, and the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
I have been providing professional counseling since 2006. From working with populations spanning young children to retirees, I have experience treating most of the issues that potential clients struggle with. In addition to working with a wide range of general counseling concerns, I specialize in anxiety and sex therapy. During my career, I have been able to utilize my expertise in sex therapy to address a wide variety of sexual concerns. Previously, at UGA's Counseling and Psychiatric Services, I trained faculty and staff to be able to provide a safe space for LGBTQ students. I have given educational presentations about differing sexual concerns and points of interest. I also served on the University Health Center's diversity committee to improve cultural competency among the Health Center's faculty and staff before branching out and opening my own practice. In my current practice, I enjoy counseling individuals, couples, and multi-partners in all the areas I've mentioned. If you have specific questions about my counseling services or the areas I address, please feel free to give me a call or send an email.
